In Imperium Horizons you take a great people from history by the hand and guide them through times of growth and decline. Fourteen civilisations are ready to play, from the Maya to the Inuit, from the Tang to the Polynesians. Each one plays completely differently. One grows through conquest, another through trade or culture. That makes every game feel like a new adventure. It is all about finding balance. Expand too fast and unrest strikes, causing your empire to collapse. Play too carefully and you disappear into a footnote of history. You conquer land, steer science and art, and try to become the mightiest empire of all time. At the table you feel the tension rise while everyone grows their own people. This is a complete game you can play on its own, but you can also combine it with Imperium: Classics and Imperium: Legends for even more civilisations. It also includes a new trade module, which brings a thriving economy to life. Prefer to play alone? Then you take on the computer civilisations by yourself. Expect a solid evening full of choices and history, for two to four players.
