Hounded

Two players, one chase. In Hounded you step into the shoes of the cunning fox that wants to stay out of reach, or you take the role of the persistent hunter who wants to catch the animal at all costs. Only one of you can win, and the tension between you grows with every move. You take turns moving your pieces across the board and flipping tiles. Sometimes nothing happens, sometimes a surprise suddenly turns up. The fox is on its own, but the hunter has a pack of hounds at his side. As the hunter you win by cornering the fox with your hounds, or by making him end up next to you. If you play the fox, you have to run down the clock: find the three clock tiles or flip 43 of the 49 tiles in total, and you are free. A game for two that builds plenty of tension in twenty-five minutes. Perfect for an evening when you want to take each other on. Who rules the board: the hunter with his hounds, or the fox who thinks just a little faster?
