Homebrewers

Brewing beer is an art, and in Homebrewers you learn that art while you play. Together with the other players you are a member of the local brewing club, where you spend eight months using dice to gather ingredients, refine recipes and of course brew beer. Every month you get together for a weekend to trade and negotiate, and you use the rest of the time to shape your brews. You focus on four kinds of beer: Ale, Porter, Stout and IPA. The more often you brew a certain recipe, the better you get at it. That growing expertise earns you standing in the club, especially if you combine high quality with the right flavour. During Summerfest and Octoberfest you can earn medals, and at Octoberfest a jury even tastes your best brews. After eight months it becomes clear who has built up the most reputation within the club. Whoever finds the best balance between quality, flavour and timing is crowned the best brewer. Get ready for a game full of strategic choices, friendly squabbling over ingredients and the smell of virtual freshly brewed beer.
