HITSTER: Summer Party

1. First, choose a music chart and scan the QR code with the Hitster app to automatically play the song on Spotify.
2. Then guess when the song was released and place the card in the correct place in your music timeline.
3. Next, turn over the music card. Did you guess the year correctly? Then you keep the music card to further expand your timeline.
4. Once you have ten cards on your timeline you win the game!

Tip: Adding the Hitster tokens to the mix creates an even more exciting game!

Hitster has different levels of play, so the game is a challenge for every music lover!

• Pro You know your music! - Show how well you know artists and their songs.
• Expert Hardcore HITSTER! - You love music and know the title, artist and year by heart!
• Cooperative Work Together! - Create one music timeline together with your friends.

Can you play Hitster without Spotify?

Yes. You can play HITSTER without a Spotify account, but you won't get the best gaming experience. This is because you will only hear 20 seconds of each song. Spotify is offering a temporary free trial of Spotify Premium if you sign up for an account. Go to: https://www.spotify.com/nl/premium/

Can you play Hitster with Youtube, Apple Music, Deezer or another streaming service?

Yes you can, but in that case one player must manually search for the song on the song card in the favorite music streaming service instead of scanning the card with the HITSTER app. You can choose to choose one player as the DJ for the entire game OR take turns playing the song by passing your device to the next player each turn.

In short, Spotify Premium works best.
