Gunkimono

In a torn medieval Japan, the soldiers are losing their footing. After endless battles, betrayal and broken promises, they no longer know who to trust. Meanwhile, the daimyo are making their plans. They gather troops and build strong strongholds, all in search of honour and final victory. In Gunkimono you take on the role of such a daimyo. You send your armies across the land and decide for yourself how you advance. Every new group of soldiers earns you points, but you can also leave those points behind and save up for your own stronghold. What is your road to victory? At the same time, you keep a close eye on your opponents. Do not let their armies grow too large, because before you know it they keep expanding and that comes at your expense. A game full of choices, in which everyone at the table feels the tension of each move rising.
