About the game

After recent events, the reclusive Esther Hail, who has saved the town several times, loathes her new reputation. Invading wannabe heroes and vengeful demons endlessly disrupt her studies at the Crooked Bone.

Instead of moving, she decides to enchant her door, making anyone who opens it smaller. And this is where you come in: Your character is an aspiring hero who, in a thoughtless attempt at fame, tries to visit Hail and poof! Now you are tiny and find yourself in a lawless realm! Your mission is clear, find another way to enter the Crooked Bone and convince Hail to undo your tiny status.

Buttons & Bugs gives you the same in-depth strategic battles as Gloomhaven, but in a fraction of the size. Its compact size and streamlined system allow you to set up and play a scenario in less than 20 minutes, and it fits on your coffee table or even an airplane table!
