In Gloom 2nd Edition you turn everything you normally want upside down. Here you actually hope for setbacks, sorrow and the saddest events you can imagine. You take charge of a strange family full of unlucky souls, and your task is as grim as it is funny: make sure they go through as much misery as possible before they finally get to rest in the grave. During the game you stack transparent cards on top of each other, so you can see exactly how the lives of your characters keep getting sadder. Meanwhile you try to help your opponents' families a little, because happiness for them is bad news for you.
