Picture this: you build your own academy and fish for the sharpest minds in history. In Genies it is all about the world's most famous scientists. Who manages to bring in the right names? Each round you secretly place a bid on five scholars. Nobody sees what the others bid, so you have to judge well what your opponents are after. The scholars score points in eight different fields of study, spread over three rankings. After every second round a new ranking is drawn up, and then you find out whether your gamble paid off. With action cards you give your academy that little bit of extra direction, so your profile fits exactly what scores the most points. Genies is a game for 2 to 5 players aged 10 and up and takes about 90 minutes. Ideal for an evening full of secret plans, tense bidding and plenty of friendly scheming at the table. Whoever has collected the most points after the final ranking wins and can rightly call themselves the head of the best academy.
