Japan in the 16th century, the time of the Sengoku period. Two daimyo stand face to face and fight for control of the battlefield. In General Orders Sengoku Jidai you step into the role of such a ruler and send your commanders into battle. Capture forts, keep your supply lines safe and make sure your own headquarters stays well protected. This two-player game combines the feel of a real war game with the exciting choices of worker placement. Every move counts, because your opponent is waiting for any misstep. New are the waterways, ships and heavy siege weapons, spread across two boards. That way you never play the same game twice. General Orders Sengoku Jidai comes from the well-known duo David Thompson and Trevor Benjamin and is the follow-up to General Orders World War II. You can play it on its own, so no prior knowledge is needed. In half an hour you get a tough duel in which you both want to squeeze out every last advantage.
