Ganesha

Ganesha is the Indian god of wisdom and prosperity. He loves art, colour and beauty. Imagine this god had his own board game, what would it look like? Something beautiful, for sure. That is exactly the feeling you get in Ganesha: a light and friendly game for the whole family, with sparkling gemstones and a mandala that slowly fills with colour. Every turn you face a fun choice. Do you place your gemstones on the mandala now to score points, or keep them in your treasury for a bigger moment later? You take a stone from the altar, place it on your destination tile, and now and then you can sacrifice a stone to push a whole colour onto the mandala in one go. Step by step you build a table full of colour. Ganesha plays nice and quickly and is easy to explain, even to children aged 8 and up. Perfect for a relaxed game with two players or with the whole family, where everyone can join in right away and nobody has to puzzle over the rules for long.
