And yes, with the Targaryens come the dragons on the board. Can you feel the tension rising already? Thanks to the vassal system, the game gains a hefty extra layer. You forge alliances, betray friends and fight for power over the Seven Kingdoms. Where the base game is already full of intrigue, this goes a step further. What is more, you can now play with up to 8 players, so feel free to invite a few extra friends. Please note: you need the A Game of Thrones The Boardgame (Second Edition) base game to play this expansion. Without that foundation, you will not get far in the struggle for the Iron Throne.
