Galileo Galilei

"And yet it moves", he said. With those words you step into the world of Galileo Galilei, where you are an astronomer in a time full of superstition and opposition. You point your telescope at the sky, discover new planets and track down unknown galaxies. Every discovery brings you a step closer to a great scientific breakthrough. Your telescope determines which of the five actions you choose, and along the way you make those actions ever more powerful. Collect cards of different planets and galaxies, and bring together lenses in the three primary colours to make a real discovery. But watch out for the inquisitors. They show up uninvited and can drag your name through the mud in no time. Can you turn their visit to your advantage? Galileo Galilei is a Euro-style game with plenty of depth, suitable for one to four players. Around the table you puzzle over your own discoveries while keeping an eye on each other. Expect about a hundred minutes full of choices, tension and that wonderful satisfaction when your star chart is finally full.
