Frosted Blooms

This edition is in English and French. A thin layer of frost still covers the Dutch landscape when the first tulips turn their heads towards the spring sun. In Frosted Blooms you build your own garden over ten rounds, and you want that garden to be as beautiful and valuable as possible. Whoever creates the most harmonious tulip field wins. Each turn you choose a landscape tile and look for the best spot for it. Then you play a landscape card and earn points that match the way your garden looks. Close off a piece of land and you add workers, barns and mills. Those give you extra bonuses at the end of the game. The game comes from the well-known designers Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc. You play it solo or with up to four players, from age 8 up. Expect about forty minutes of puzzling, planning and watching your garden grow ever more beautiful.
