Freigard

In the quiet land of Freigard, peace is over. Terrible Walking Castles are on their way and they want to trample everything. It is up to you to gather the bravest defenders and bring those metal monsters to a halt. A small land, a big challenge, and you taking it on all by yourself. Freigard looks simple, but that is exactly where it gets you. Every turn you make a choice: do you score your hand of three cards, or do you draw another card to make your hand stronger (and discard one)? Play too eagerly and your deck runs out far too quickly. Play too carefully and you may miss the army you need against the toughest Castles. Making that trade-off again and again is what makes this game so exciting. This is a game for one player, finished in about fifteen minutes. Perfect for a quiet moment on the couch with a cup of tea beside you, while you try just one more round. Because the urge to do better than last time keeps on itching.
