Foundations of Metropolis

Picture yourself walking through a growing city. On every empty spot you see opportunities. In Foundations of Metropolis you spend three rounds building your own part of the metropolis. You buy deeds for empty lots and put new buildings on them. Whoever shapes the city best may call themselves Grand Architect. The bigger and more complex a building, the more lots you need. But structures like that also earn you far more prestige. You play with blocks in all kinds of shapes, which you fit onto the city map like a puzzle. Every choice counts, because your opponents have their eye on the same spots. This game stands completely on its own and plays the same way as Foundations of Rome, but with a fresh new theme and puzzle pieces you will not want to stop placing. An evening of building and weighing your options that you will remember together for a long time.
