Fluttering Souls

Fluttering Souls takes you into an old Japanese story about love that is stronger than death: the legend of the white butterfly. According to that story, white butterflies are the souls of loved ones you have lost, coming by to see you one more time. In this game for two players, you collect the most beautiful butterflies, hoping that one white butterfly will settle on you. Each game lasts three to five rounds. On your turn you choose butterflies to score points with, either on their own or as part of a matching collection. Whoever has the most points at the end of a round receives a White Butterfly Token: a visit from a lost loved one. Be the first to collect three and you win. The illustrations are breathtakingly beautiful and give the game a dreamy feel. A game takes twenty minutes, just right for a quiet moment together at the table. Sitting across from each other, looking at all those colours and secretly hoping that the white butterfly comes to you. That is what makes Fluttering Souls something special.
