Flatiron

In the middle of Manhattan stands a building you recognise right away: the Flatiron Building. With its triangular shape, it looks just like an old-fashioned clothes iron. Since 1902 it has been part of the New York skyline, right where Fifth Avenue and Broadway cross. In this game you travel back to that time and help get this remarkable structure off the ground. You and your opponent each build up your own company. You place new cards on your player board and that makes your actions in the surrounding streets stronger and stronger. Whoever makes the best choices can do more and better things. You mostly earn points with building jobs, but also with a good reputation and by sticking to the rules of the city council. As soon as the roof is in place and everything is ready for the grand opening, the curtain falls. The player with the most points takes the honours. Flatiron is made for two players and there is also a solo mode, so you can take it on by yourself.
