Fathom

Far below the surface waits a world no one has ever seen. In Fathom you lead a team of marine biologists who want to unravel the secrets of an unknown ecosystem around a fictional island. With your boat and submarine you explore the ocean, scan the depths and place tiles that show signs of sea life. You play six short rounds in which everyone acts at the same time, so you never have to wait long. From your discovery bag you draw tiles that you use to build patterns. At the end of each round you swap bags and together you lay out the sonar board again to claim the best tiles. Whoever creates the finest patterns collects the most points. The box holds four expeditions that you can play again and again. Each expedition has its own kinds of sea creatures and surprising twists, so no dive ever feels the same.
