Fairytale Gloom

In Fairytale Gloom everything is about the exact opposite of what you would expect. You take charge of a group of fairy tale characters, but you do not want things to go well for them. You want their lives to be as hard as possible. The sadder their life, the better you score. Only when they finally get to rest after a long string of setbacks are you the winner. The familiar old stories get a delightfully twisted turn here. Princesses are driven mad by a single pea, fairies spoil the fun, and spiders show up where nobody wanted them. While you send your own characters towards ruin, you try to keep your opponents' characters cheerful and happy. That often leads to the funniest moments at the table. The best part is the transparent cards, which you lay on top of each other. This way the fate of your characters changes in plain sight for everyone. Together you make up the wildest stories about everything that happens. Fairytale Gloom is a game for 2 to 5 players and delivers an evening full of dark humour and lots of laughs.
