Somewhere far away live cute dragons that need protection. You are the head of a tribe of dragon keepers, and together with the other keepers you hold the mean hunter at bay. He wants nothing more than to get his hands on those dragons, but first he has to get past you. Luckily the keepers have magic at their disposal, and that comes in very handy in the fight. The nice thing about Dragon Keepers is that there are two games in one box. In the Keeper game you play against each other: the hunter rolls dice to attack the dragons and you choose which dragon you defend. The first to heroically save three dragons wins. The Dragon game is all about working together. You defend and train the dragons so they can strike back at the hunter themselves. That calls for discussion and a good plan, because if a dragon falls you all lose together. This game was designed by Vital Lacerda and his son Alexandre. Vital says himself that his son knows everything about dragons and that the game would never have existed without him. That also makes Dragon Keepers a game to play with your own children. The youngest adventurers can join in from age 6, and it seats up to six players at the table.
