Dorfromantik: The Duel

After the great success of Dorfromantik: The Board Game, the second visit to the world of Dorfromantik is not in the spirit of cooperation, but encourages friendly competition.

Dorfromantik: The Duel retains the core mechanics of the winner of Spiel des Jahres 2023, but splits the playing area in two.

During the game, players build two separate landscapes with two identical copies of each tile as soon as it is revealed.

At the end of the game, two beautiful landscapes have been created that differ depending on how each player (or team) approached the strategic challenge.

Two new task types are introduced: duplicate tasks and wraparound tasks, each bringing exciting new twists to building and scoring your landscape. In addition, two new modules further expand the player's options with task maps and Points of Interest. These can be played independently or combined for greater challenges, more variety and more interaction.

Anyone who loves Dorfromantik: The Board Game will find expansion components for that game in the form of 7 Task tiles and matching markers, 4 Achievement cards and Special tiles, plus a Photographer and camera marker.

Designed for two players or two teams competing against each other, Dorfromantik: The Duel easily supports up to four players when using two copies.
