Donkey Derby

In Donkey Derby it is all about collecting letters and turning them into the best words. At the start of each round you spin a wheel, a bit like a wheel of fortune. What you get is up to luck. With the letters you pick up, you set to work forming words and scoring points. The nice thing is that you can choose how you play. There are four variants: a version for beginners, one with birds, one with animals and one with capital cities. That keeps the game fresh and makes it fit for young and old. With four or five players there is an extra surprise. One player may take letters from the bank or even snatch a letter from someone else. That brings laughter and tension to the table. And then there are the donkey cards. They score points, or you trade them in at the bank for three new letters. Whoever collects enough points first wins. A fun game for two to five players aged eight and up, done in about half an hour.
