Dixit EN

In Dixit EN it is all about imagination and that one perfect word. You hold cards with dreamy, fairytale-like pictures. When it is your turn, you secretly choose a card and say something about it. A word, a song, a rhyme or a short sentence, anything goes. The other players then pick a card from their own hand that fits what you said. All cards go on the table and are shuffled together. Now it is time to guess: which card belonged to the storyteller again? The special part is the balance. Say too much and everyone guesses right away. Say too little and nobody guesses at all. That is exactly what makes every round exciting and surprising. Dixit EN is for three to six players and is suitable from eight years old. The beautiful illustrations and the open nature make it a game for young and old, where everyone at the table joins in their own way. No wonder this game won the Spiel des Jahres title in 2010.
