It is Restaurant Week in Bistro Bay and the tension is high. All over the city restaurants compete for the best dishes, while everyone secretly shares one dream: amazing that one famous critic. You run your own kitchen and send your cooks into the city to find the tastiest ingredients. Who will serve the dish that people keep talking about? Each round new ingredients are spread across the city. At the same time and in secret, you choose where to send your three cooks. That is quite a puzzle, because one cook is lightning fast but only carries one thing, while another arrives late but can carry an armful. Meanwhile you pick up rumours here and there about what the critic really likes. In the rounds after that, challenges appear that earn you stars, and after round seven comes the big moment: the dish that has to top everything. Critter Kitchen is for 1 to 5 players and is suitable from age 12. A game takes about an hour. With so many critics, rumours and restaurant owners, no two games are the same, so you will keep coming back together for another round of cooking. Perfect for an evening full of strategy, laughter and lovely puzzling at the table.
