This is the Dutch-language edition. Now you can play Clever with the little ones! Roll the dice, pick all the dice of the same colour and fill in the result on your score sheet. Your opponents can choose from the dice you leave behind. Thanks to the festive theme and the simplified rules, Clever Junior is perfect for young players. At the same time, this dice game still plays like a real Clever. Let's roll!
Time for a party! A good party has balloons, candles, little cakes and of course presents too. Whoever collects enough of these gets rainbow stars. The player with the most rainbow stars wins the game. Time to roll the dice!
Clever Junior is a simplified and cheerful version of the popular dice game Clever. The rules are easy to learn. Thanks to the familiar Clever set-up, where you choose from a number of dice and pass the rest on to your fellow players, nobody has to wait long for their turn.
Just as in the grown-up Clever, in Clever Junior you have to choose from the dice you roll. You can use all dice with the same colour and the right symbol on your own score sheet. The dice you leave behind may be used by your opponents. Dice of the same colour may be filled in in the matching category. The fuller your category gets, the more rainbow stars you collect. You can also tick off bonuses, which give you extra turns.
Clever Junior is a fantastic game to use in education for children aged 5 and up. The game is already a treat to look at with its little cakes, presents and balloons. On top of that, it is also great fun for adults to play.
This game works well if you are working around the theme of 'party' or if you want to practise the words that go with this theme. The score sheet naturally sparks conversation, because there is so much to see on it.
With this game you can practise a number of skills, such as planning/prioritising and flexibility.
In this game you have several options each turn for placing your crosses. Because you work with bonuses, every choice affects the number of crosses you may place, and that makes the game very interesting for practising planning and prioritising.
Encourage children to think out loud so their options become clear. Help them to put several options side by side and so decide what the best choice is.
Making a plan in advance does not help much, though, because you do not know what you will roll or what will be rolled. That is where flexibility comes in.
