The city council has given you a special assignment: give a whole neighbourhood a fresh new look. You decide where the houses go, where people will work and where the parks and squares by the water will be. In Cities the future of the city is literally in your hands, and it is up to you to make it the most beautiful place around. Each round you choose the best projects and place them cleverly in your own building area. You collect cards, city tiles and building pieces, and stack buildings up to four storeys high. That way your district grows step by step. Along the way you visit famous cities such as Sydney, Venice, New York and Rio de Janeiro, each with its own atmosphere. Whoever reaches the most goals earns extra points on the scoreboard. With round after round of puzzling and planning, Cities is perfect for the table with family or friends. The rules are quick to learn, but the choices keep you thinking. At the end you add everything up and it becomes clear who has built the loveliest neighbourhood.
