Chinese Checkers

Do you know that feeling when the whole family is sitting around the table and nobody wants to get up? That is exactly what Chinese Checkers does. On the star-shaped board of this classic game, the goal is to get your pieces to the other side as quickly as possible. You jump over your own pieces and those of the other players, and sometimes you make a whole chain of jumps in one turn. That moment when it works out is a real joy. The game is easy to learn, but you keep thinking about the best route. Children from 7 years old can join right in, and grandma and grandpa are happy to pick up the colourful pieces too. With two to six players there is always someone to play against, and a game takes about half an hour. Funnily enough, Chinese Checkers does not come from China at all and has nothing to do with draughts. The name simply stuck. What is true: this is a game that has brought people together for generations, and after one round it almost always calls for a second.
