Catch Sketch

Grab your pencil and draw as fast as you can! In Catch Sketch it is all about drawing under time pressure. You have to depict a word with quick sketches, and the player whose turn it is tries to guess what you mean. Sounds easy? Just wait until the clock starts running. The beauty is in the tension. The guesser first looks at the drawing of the fastest player. Wrong guess? Then the chance passes to the next one. So being fast matters, but making a recognisable drawing counts just as much. Scribble too hastily and nobody will understand a thing. That is exactly what creates the best moments at the table. Laughter about that one odd scribble, surprise when someone guesses it anyway, and that little contest over who draws fastest and clearest. With three to six players and games of about twenty minutes, this is a game you could easily keep playing all evening.
