Picture a mountain landscape with crystal clear lakes, high peaks and animals looking for their place. In Cascadia Alpine Lakes you build such a world all by yourself. You lay tiles, place animals and look for the best way to make everything fit together. What makes this game special is the height: you can stack tiles on top of each other to create real mountains and lakes. You can explain the rules in a few minutes, but the choices stay interesting all evening. Each round you pick tiles and animals and try to match your landscape as well as possible to the goals on the table. Because those goals are different every time, you never play the same game twice. That makes it fun for the whole family and at the same time challenging enough for players who like to think a bit deeper. Cascadia Alpine Lakes is completely standalone, so you do not need any other game to play it. With the lovely wooden animal figures, the many tiles and the handy cloth bag, the mountain landscape really comes to life. From one player up to four: around the table you build a quiet piece of nature together that you will keep coming back to.
