Canvas Critters

Welcome to the Mosaic Forest, home of the big art festival every year. The most creative little critters in the whole area live here, and they all share one dream: to have their mosaic hung in the exclusive gala show of the famous Bianca Blanco. She picks out the loveliest works, and only the very best stand a chance of a spot in her gallery. In Canvas Critters you and your friends build colourful mosaics that catch the eye. Between rounds you secretly hand out ribbons to each other's artworks. That way you give points to the mosaics that best capture the theme of that round. Everyone gets to choose a theme in turn, and in the end the player with the most points wins. With two players the game changes a little. You each make your own mosaic and try to guess which secret theme the other player had in mind. Sitting together at the table, laying down colours and being surprised by what the other person came up with: that is what it is all about.
