Canopy

In Canopy you bring a rainforest to life. You plant tall trees, let shrubs and flowers grow, and so attract the most beautiful animals to your patch of jungle. Whoever grows the richest and most varied forest wins. It sounds peaceful, but finding the right balance between plants and animals takes quite some doing. On your turn you look at three piles of growth cards. Do you take a pile, or put it back and add another card to it? The longer you wait, the fuller the pile gets, but the greater the risk. Because dangers lurk in the jungle: fire, disease and drought can strike at any moment. Every choice feels exciting, just like in a real rainforest. Canopy is played with two players, but there are also variants for three or four participants and even a solo version. The box also contains an extra card set with seasons, so there is always something new to discover. A beautiful game to daydream over together at the table.
