Builders of Sylvan Dale

High in the branches of giant trees you build a new realm. After the Great Disasters, the Elders call on you and the other master builders to reshape Sylvan Dale. In Builders of Sylvan Dale you design a forest world full of houses, bridges and hanging courtyards, and you do it literally in three dimensions. The trees keep growing higher into the sky during the game, and your houses must keep up. Play a card and place a new house on top of the trees. Collect sets of cards? Then you get special actions, such as building a bridge or making a treetop grow. The trick is to make your houses come out higher and finer than those of your fellow players. The game runs over two rounds. At the end of each round you check who has the most influence in each tree and each area of the board. Whoever has collected the most glory points at the end will be remembered forever as the greatest master builder of Sylvan Dale. This game by designer Peter Ridgeway is suitable for two to four players aged ten and up. Whether you like a relaxed game or prefer a real challenge, everyone gets their money's worth at the Builders of Sylvan Dale table.
