Welcome to medieval Genoa, where powerful families compete for standing, wealth and the finest marriages. In Brides & Bribes you take on the role of one of those families and try to become the most important one over six rounds. Every family member you place has a talent of their own, and using those talents at the right moment is what makes the difference. Each round you send your family members into the districts of the city. There you hire new people, gather workers and try to convince a local lord that a marriage to his daughter is a good idea. It is all about putting the right person in the right place. Do that well and your influence grows round after round. Hire the brightest minds, marry into the strongest families and expand your trading empire. And if an opponent gets in your way too often? Then a little poison is also an option.
