This edition is in French and Dutch. Do you have green fingers? In Botanik you step into the shoes of a mechanical botanist who wants to save the world with a special mix of technology and nature. Together with your opponent you build a machine full of pipes, while flowers and plants beg for water. Whoever extends their network most cleverly wins. The story starts in a laboratory, where an inventor has found a way to make plants grow with the help of machines. She calls in her two best teams to build the best working machine. Starting from your source tile, you connect pipes piece by piece, until the water reaches exactly where your plants need it. The tension lies in the choosing. Do you take the tile you need, or do you snatch it away right from under your opponent's nose? Every choice counts and every turn changes the playing field. Botanik is a lovely game for two, full of planning ahead and small teases, ideal for half an hour together at the table.
