Kanban is a system for signalling (with cards, for example) when something is needed. It can be used to organise all sorts of things in life. It is a system for managing the logistics of a production chain. Kanban was developed by Taiichi Ohno at Toyota, to find a system that made it possible to reach a high level of production.

Sandra pays your factory a visit

Bot Factory is a lighter version of Kanban EV. Where Sandra assesses you in Kanban EV, you will meet her again in Bot Factory. This time she is an adviser!

The game uses the same worker placement as Kanban EV. Turn order is determined by the positions of your workers on the board.

The management of your Bot Factory is convinced of the efficiency of the Kanban method. That is why they have rearranged the whole production floor to enjoy the benefits of Kanban.

Impress the management

Now you have to try to impress the management and Sandra by becoming even more productive in the toy factory where you work. If you can convince them that you are enthusiastic about this new approach, by even exceeding their high expectations, you might land a management position and get off the assembly line!
