Birdwatcher

In Birdwatcher you step into the shoes of a nature photographer. You are after the finest shots of birds of paradise, and they are not easy to capture. Lure the birds to your tree, quickly take a photo of them and publish your finds. Whoever collects the most points at the end may call themselves Global Geographic Photographer of the Year. Each turn you have three actions available. You can lure birds from the clearing and the jungle to your tree, take photos of the birds sitting there, or run into the jungle to flush out new birds. Would you rather be cheeky? Then fit a telephoto lens and shoot a picture of a bird in another player's tree. Everything you capture ends up in your photo diary, where it scores points at the end. Birdwatcher plays quickly and sharply at the same time. You are constantly choosing where to spend your actions, and that creates tension at the table. Fun with two players, but with five photographers fighting over the same birds it really becomes a party. And if you prefer to head out on your own, you can also play the game solo.
