Battle of the Gods

In Battle of the Gods you step into the role of a god who wants to gather as many followers as possible. Around the outer ring of Stonehenge you build up clans. The bigger a clan, the more points it scores. And if you place yourself as a divine presence among your followers, you protect that clan against attacks from your opponents. Each turn you have a choice. Place yourself or a follower, remove another player's follower, or discard cards. At the end of your turn you refill your hand, so you always have new options. This creates a game full of small choices with big consequences, in which you have to keep a close eye on your neighbours. The game ends as soon as the deck runs out, the outer ring is full, or someone plays their last follower. After that everyone adds up their followers, gods and clans. Whoever has the most points may call themselves the mightiest god of Stonehenge. A fierce fight for power that is settled in three quarters of an hour.
