Babylon

Thousands of years ago, the king of Babylon wanted to surprise his young wife with the most beautiful gardens the world had ever seen. Flowers in every scent and colour, level upon level. He called together the finest master builders in his realm. In Babylon you are one of those master builders, and you take on the challenge of creating the most impressive garden. The game lasts only five minutes, but there is plenty to think about. You take tiles from the quarry (the box in the middle of the table) and get pillars in return. With those pillars you build your terraces higher and higher on your own player board. Decorate them with flowers and other ornaments, because at the end they score points. The higher you place something, the more it is worth. Babylon is for two players aged seven and up and suits the whole family. Even so, it is also popular with keen gamers, because there is lots to puzzle over and optimise. Whoever shows the king the most beautiful garden may call themselves the greatest master builder in the realm.
