This is the Dutch-language edition. Meet Atiwa, a beautiful board game by the well-known game designer Uwe Rosenberg. In this game you dive into the world of Ghana and help protect fruit bats. Build a lovely town and care for nature in this exciting strategic adventure. Play with friends or family and enjoy hours of fun!
Atiwa takes place in the Atiwa range in the southeast of Ghana. This area has hills with steep slopes and flat tops. Many animals live in the green forest reserve, but there are threats such as logging, hunting and mining.
The mayor of the town of Kibi helps the fruit bats by giving them shelter in his garden. These fruit bats help spread fruit seeds, which protects the forests. A large colony of fruit bats can help many forests grow!
In the game you have 3 workers that you can use each round for 3 actions. Expand your town with cards and place families, animals, trees and fruit bats. Watch out: some actions can harm the environment. Use pollution tokens wisely to protect your forest.
After each round the animals grow, the families need to eat and the fruit on the trees ripens. You also train your families to earn more income without harming the environment.
