Agricola Family

You start with a small wooden hut, a partner and almost nothing else. From that moment on you build your own farm step by step. You gather wood and clay, lay out pastures and make sure there is enough food for everyone. Want to get more done? Then you can have children, but do make sure there is bread on the table. Each round you may only take a few actions, and every action can be chosen by just one player at a time. That means you have to think carefully about what you grab first. As the game goes on, new options keep appearing. So not only your farm grows, but the tension at the table too. Agricola Family is an accessible version of the well-known farming classic. The rules have been simplified a bit, so it also plays nicely with young players from eight years old. At the end, everything you have built up simply counts. A lovely game to discover together at the table how you make something beautiful out of nothing.
