Agree to Disagree

It sounds odd, but in Agree to Disagree disagreeing is exactly the fun part. Each round one player picks a topic within a category. Then everyone secretly forms an opinion: do you like it or not? Next you link your secret opinion marker to that of another player. Do you disagree? Then you score points. Do you agree? Then it is high-five time, because you have found something to chat about later. The great thing is that this game adapts to the group. You decide yourself how daring or how safe the topics get, so you can play it with friends, with family or with your regular game group. With four to eight players it gets nicely competitive, while with two or three you work together to figure it out. Are you paying close attention during the round? Then you can sometimes guess whether the previous players agreed or disagreed, and use that to your advantage. Agree to Disagree is the perfect icebreaker when the mood is still a little awkward, but it works just as well on a fun evening with people you know inside out. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. Plays smoothly in about 25 minutes and is suitable from age 8.
