12 Rivers

Imagine a world where people and nature live together in peace. The rivers flow through the land and carry the gifts of nature everywhere. In 12 Rivers you set out to collect that wealth and bring it back to the village, so everyone can look forward to a good year. You lead one of the four tribes and take turns sending your warriors up the mountain. They set up camp along the river and gather the treasures of nature there. The closer you get to the source, the more valuable your finds. But watch out: climbing further also costs you more camp supplies. Again and again you have to weigh up how far you dare to go. After five rounds you add up everything you have brought in. Rare treasures are worth the most points. 12 Rivers is a lovely game for two to four players aged ten and up, and it takes about 75 minutes. Just enough time to set off on an adventure along the rivers together.
