Advent Calendar 2026 terms and conditions

1. Who runs this promotion?

The Advent Calendar 2026 is a promotion of Kapitein Spel, trade name of Effe Een Spel V.O.F., Mildijk 38, 4214 DS Vuren, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 91788854. Email: hoi@kapiteinspel.nl.

2. Period

The calendar runs from Saturday 21 November 2026 to Thursday 24 December 2026. Each day a new door opens at 07:00 (Dutch time). An offer behind a door is valid on that day only, until 23:59, or while stock lasts.

3. Taking part

• Taking part is free. You do not have to buy anything.
• Newsletter subscribers get a personal link. New visitors can open doors 1 and 2 freely. From door 3 we ask for your email address, and you confirm your sign-up by email (double opt-in).
• You can leave the calendar at any time with the link at the top of every calendar email. You stay subscribed to the newsletter.

4. Offers behind the doors

• Day deals, bundles and surprise boxes are valid on the day of the door only, and while stock lasts.
• You can buy at most 1 unit of a day deal per order.
• For a discount, the was-price is the lowest price we charged in the 30 days before.
• You get a free gift with your order only on the day of that door, for an order of at least the amount shown at the door (€70 or €100, after discount). While stock lasts.

5. January vouchers (doors 32 and 33)

• Door 32 (22 December) holds a €5 voucher for an order of €70 or more. Door 33 (23 December) holds a €7.50 voucher for an order of €100 or more.
• You can claim the voucher until 1 January 2027. It is valid from 2 to 31 January 2027.
• Each voucher is personal, works only with your email address, can be used once and does not apply to products that are already on sale. It cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Free prize draws

• There are 5 draws. Entry is free and separate from any purchase. An order does not give you an extra chance.
• You must be 18 or older. You confirm your age when you enter.
• You can enter each draw once. Entries close on 29 November, 6 December, 13 December, 20 December and 24 December 2026, each at 23:59.
• The prizes are board games from our range, worth €219.95, €191.99, €163.95, €149.95 and €139.95. The total prize value is €865.79.
• The computer picks the winner at random, within 2 days after the draw closes. The winner gets an email with a personal code worth the prize, with free shipping. The code is valid for 30 days and can be used once.
• If the winner does not reply or does not use the code within 30 days, we may draw a new winner. A prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Kapitein Spel staff and their family members cannot take part.
• We follow the Dutch Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance 2014.

7. Privacy

We use your email address only for the calendar, the draws and, if you chose it, the newsletter. See our privacy statement.

8. Questions and complaints

Do you have a question or complaint about the calendar? Email hoi@kapiteinspel.nl. You get a reply within 5 working days. We handle a complaint about a draw within 14 days.

9. Other

• If a price or offer contains an obvious error (for example a clear typo), we do not have to honour it.
• We may change these terms or stop a door when needed, for example in case of misuse or a technical fault. We post any change on this page.
• Dutch law applies to this promotion. If the Dutch and English text differ, the Dutch text applies.
