Deep beneath the island of Jiin lie two heavy gates. They hold dark powers captive, once banished by Arashi, a hero who was cast out by the false emperor. Ever since, the land has been torn apart by war. The people wait for their hero to return, while the rumours of returning demons grow louder and louder. In Yohei you step right into this story and pick your side. Yohei mixes the mystery of Japanese folk tales with a fantasy world of its own. You play with different clans that each have their own strengths, on a game board that you lay out differently every time. That way, every game feels new. You roll dice, move your warriors across the board, call up powerful events and use legendary weapons. Meanwhile you put up buildings and gather fighters to gain the upper hand. This is a game for players who like depth and enjoy fighting a real battle with friends.
