WolfWalkers: My Story

In WolfWalkers: My Story you and an opponent each build your own grid of cards, decorated with images from the well-known animated film Wolfwalkers. Card by card your world grows, and you try to lay it out so that it matches exactly the goals you have chosen. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. Each turn you choose from six double-sided cards laid out in front of you. You take a goal card, which shows you how to score points, or a story card, which helps you fulfil those goals. The goals come in three kinds: shapes that reward a certain arrangement, arrows that look at icons in the same row or column, and sums that count how many matching icons you have in your whole five by five grid. After the first card, every new card must connect to another one, so you always have to think ahead. Want more variety? There is an expansion that brings extra choices and more interaction between you. Fixed cards let you adjust the game for everyone, and chance cards give you a special action you may use once per game. With fifteen fixed cards and twenty-five chance cards, no two games play the same. And if you have two copies? Then you can even play with up to four people at the table.
