Winter Queen

In a faraway land it is always winter. Once a year, the Winter Queen calls her court wizards together for a special contest. With enchanted crystals they create beautiful magical jewellery, and the queen pays for it in gold coins. Whoever has collected the most coins at the end becomes the queen's new advisor. In Winter Queen you take on the role of one of these wizards. On your turn you either place a new crystal on the board, or you use the crystals already there to score points. What you score depends on the spellbooks that you and your fellow players have in front of you. So you keep an eye not only on your own plans, but also on what the others are doing. It is an abstract family game that plays smoothly and looks beautifully fairy tale like at the same time. In half an hour you share a contest full of colourful crystals and surprising choices. Lovely for an evening at the table with the family or with friends.
