Varia Starter Set

Two fighters face each other, ready for battle. In the Varia Starter Set you choose from two fantasy classes and try to defeat the other. One hits hard as the Volcanic Warrior, the other works in a sneaky and nasty way as the Shadow Assassin. Whoever brings their opponent down to zero life points first wins the duel. Each turn has two parts. First you make a plan: which attacks will you use, and how will you defend against what is coming your way? Then comes the moment of truth. You roll the dice and see right away whether your attack hits or whether your blow is neatly blocked. Every roll feels exciting, because you never quite know how it will turn out. With your weapons, your armour and the cards in your hand, you build a new move every time. That makes each game different. The Varia Starter Set is made for two players and takes about an hour. Just enough time to lose yourselves together in a fierce fight where you both think: just one more.
