Tricky Badger

Deep in the forests of Europe a rare little creature still lives: the wild hamster. Your job is to protect these animals and keep them safe from their biggest enemy, the badger. In Tricky Badger you play five rounds around the table and try to build the finest collection of animals and items. The game is a mix of trick taking and collecting. Each round you get nine cards, and pink is always trump. Ten collection cards lie ready in the middle of the table. The player whose turn it is chooses which card the winner of the trick may take, and an arrow reveals whether the highest or the lowest card wins the trick. Some cards trample others, and then those no longer count. So it stays exciting until the very last moment who runs off with the loot. At the end it is all about your collection. A male and a female hamster side by side score extra points, but two males will fight and then you lose everything. A badger eats your hamsters, unless you feed it a bone. Feed your hamsters grain and beetles for bonus points, and watch out for magpies that steal cards. After five rounds, the player with the most points wins.
