Thermopylae: The Hot Gates

Everyone knows the story of the 300. At the mountain pass of Thermopylae, a handful of Greek warriors, led by the Spartan Leonidas, faced the huge army of the Persian king Xerxes. In Thermopylae: The Hot Gates you step into the shoes of those defenders. Can you hold back the Persians? And can you beat them before the enemy attacks from behind through the hills? This game takes you to one of the most famous battles in history. You play it in about half an hour, so you are in the thick of the fight in no time. Would you rather play alone? That works just fine. Do you want more people around the table? Then up to five players can join. You feel the tension every time: will your lines hold, or will the enemy break through? Stand or fall, that is the question. Every choice counts and every round brings new tension to the table. Hold your ground, defend the pass and become part of the legend yourself. Perfect for anyone who loves history and a tough game together.
