The Vale of Eternity (NL)

Welcome to the Vale of Eternity, a fantasy world full of monsters, ghosts and gods! You are tamers and will capture and tame legendary creatures. The ultimate goal is to master the mighty dragons. The 70 creatures from mythological stories from around the world make the game unique and unpredictable every time. Each round, players acquire cards, perform actions and apply the effects of creatures they have summoned. The best tamer wins the game.

About the game

In The Vale of Eternity you will collect mythical creatures. Each round consists of 3 phases. In the first phase, you draw 2x as many cards as the number of players and place them face up around the central board. Starting with the starting player, everyone in turn order places one stone on a card and then everyone in reverse order places a second stone. In the second phase, players perform their turns one after the other.

During your turn you can do actions: discard cards for coins, take cards on your hands, play cards from your hand (by paying coins) and remove cards from your play area. You may never have more than 4 coins, regardless of value. The round determines how many cards are allowed in your playing area. In phase three, you perform the effects of your hourglass cards. These earn you coins and points, among other things.

The game ends after the 10th round or after the round in which a player reaches 60 points. In either case, the player with the most points wins. (via Spellenwijs).
